Photo Collage Maker puts two to six of your photos into one picture, in a layout you pick, and saves it as PNG or JPG. Use it for a before and after pair, a set of holiday shots for one post, a product shown from several angles, or a grid for a phone story. You choose the layout, the size, the space between photos, a border around each photo and the colours, and you see the result as you change them.
How to use
- Drop your photos on the box, or click it to choose them: JPG, PNG or WebP. Each one is listed with a small preview.
- Pick a Layout: two side by side, two stacked, three with one large photo on the left or on top, four in a grid, or six in a grid.
- Pick a Size: square, portrait, landscape or story. The preview shows the collage as it will be saved.
- Set the Spacing, the Background colour shown in that space, and a Border with its colour if you want a line around each photo.
- Use Up and Down to swap a photo with its neighbour; photo 1 goes in the first cell, reading left to right and top to bottom.
- Choose PNG or JPG, press Save collage, then press Download.
Examples
Two photos in the side by side layout at Square size with 20 pixels of spacing give a 1080 by 1080 picture: each photo fills a cell 510 pixels wide and 1040 pixels tall, with white around and between them. In the layout with one large photo on the left and no spacing, the first photo fills the left half and the next two share the right half. Notice that a wide photo in a tall cell loses its sides, as the photo always fills its cell.
Limits
Up to 6 photos, each up to 25 MB, and four fixed sizes, the largest 1920 by 1080 or 1080 by 1920. Spacing goes from 0 to 100 pixels and a border from 0 to 40, our own choices. Each photo is cropped to fill its cell; you cannot move a photo inside its cell or zoom it. A layout needs all of its cells filled before it can be saved. Transparent parts of a PNG show the background colour. JPG is saved at 92 percent quality. Phones have less memory than computers and may fail earlier.
FAQ
Can I choose which part of a photo shows?
Not in this tool. The middle of each photo is kept and the edges that do not fit are cut. Crop the photo first with Crop Image if you want another part to show.
Should I save as PNG or JPG?
JPG files are much smaller and suit photos well. PNG keeps every pixel exactly, which matters for screenshots and sharp text, but the file is several times larger.
Are my photos uploaded to make the collage?
No. The photos are opened and drawn by this page in your browser, and the collage is made on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
